15:23. کیونکہ بغاوت اور جادُوگری برابر ہیں اور سرکشی اَیسی ہی ہے جَیسی مُورتوں اور بتوں کی پرستش ۔ سو چُونکہ تُو نے خُداوند کے حُکم کو ردّ کیا ہے اِسلئے اُس نے بھی تجھے رد کیا ہے کہ بادشاہ نہ رہے۔ ساؔؤل نے سؔموئیل سے کہا میں نے گُناہ کیا کہ میں نے خُدواند کے فرمان کو اور تیری باتوں کو ٹال دِیا ہے کیونکہ میں لوگوں سے ڈرا اور اُنکی بات سُنی ۔

15:23. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and presumption is like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."

15:23. Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."

15:23. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

15:23. Refusing to obey is as bad as the sin of sorcery. Being stubborn and doing what you want is like the sin of worshiping idols. You refused to obey the Lord's command, so he now refuses to accept you as king."
